This community has been long in the planning,
and we are looking for funding, and will then start building.
This will be a 'green' Intentional Community". in
Tuolomne County, CA on 300 + acres of land.
Earth
Mountain View will include a Health/Wellness center, a Montessori
school for youngsters, a Community Center, a Spiritual Discovery
Center, a planetarium, and a Native American Museum, including
dwelling examples.
. We will hold seminars, retreats, and
conferences of various types in one of those buildings according to
topic.
We will also have a labrinth meditation garden, a
medicine wheel meditation garden,, large vegetable gardens,herbal
gardens, fruit orchards, animals for wool, and an animal sanctuary -
depending on space available.
The Intentional Community will provide rental
housing and all buildings will be solar and wind powered, green, and
all concrete geodesic dome construction - one story only, to assure
that even elderly and physically challenged people willl have a safe
and comfortable place to live.
There are currently 8 people on the Board of
Directors and as advisors.
Our expected full time employment is 75 +
depending on how fast occupancy occurs. Part-time and
volunteer positions will also be available.
The Health and Wellness Center will also have
rental offices for various healing modalities, various types of
pools for exercise and treatments, and the Community Center will
have pools for enjoyment as well as a professional kitchen for
residents or guests as needed.
We will also rent out a small number of buildings
where people can teach crafts such were used in the 1700's when life
was more simple.
