Take the stairs

Studies show that one beer or one glass of wine per day has many health benefits. That includes benefits for blood circulation and heart health. However, you should avoid drinking moderate or high amounts of alcohol on a daily basis. That can cause a world of health problems including ones that affect vital organs. So if you’re going to drink make sure that you do it moderately .

It’s recommended that most of your food should be healthy. However, you shouldn’t lose the joy of eating and part of that is eating your favorite junk food. Just make sure that you’ve earned it by eating healthy most of the week. You might want to have a small cheat meal once a week where you can enjoy an entire meal that includes your favorite unhealthy foods.

There’s nothing wrong with snacking in-between meals but it’s important to eat healthy snacks including fruit, nuts, etc. Healthy snacks don’t have to be tasteless so make sure to pick ones that have a good taste and texture.

It’s helpful if many of them are raw since they retain a lot of vitamins/minerals that are lost during a cooking process. You might be surprised to learn how many different fruits/veggies exist that you didn’t know about. Do some research to find some new ones to try out.

Drinking a soda once a week isn’t too bad but studies show drinking two or more per week can increase the risk of several health issues. Make sure to watch out for other sugar drinks like energy drinks and even many fruit/veggie juices that are loaded with sugar. If you watch your intake of such drinks you can stay healthier and also lose weight since sugar turns into fat.
